Happy Birthday Juliana!

Juliana turned 3 today! We say her name a little different (oo-la-nee-ah or oo-lee-nee-ah).

Wow time flies, I can't believe she's 3 already.

She woke up early today. The first thing I did was give her balloons, which she carried around all day!

I made some cake and let her lick the bowl (don't worry there were no eggs --all vegan).

She wore a lavender dress. It's the same dress that all of my girls wore when they were 3.

The girls sang happy birthday and ate some cake.

It snowed today also! The girls are excited. They really want to go outside and play, but I still need to buy some snow clothes.

Juliana got a puppet theater for her birthday. The girls love it!

Alvin and the Chipmunks

I took the girls to the movies today.
We saw Alvin and the Chipmunks.
The kids had fun! I think this is their second time going to the movies.

I left the little one home with my husband. I felt really sad to leave her, but I took her once and it really was not fun for me. She kept running up and down and spilling popcorn---and then eating it off the floor.

The girls told her she couldn't come because we were going shopping to buy her a present.
She didn't mind staying home.

On our way home I went to the dollar store and picked her up a toy. She was very happy!

Here's a picture of Euphrasia---(I don't think she likes taking pictures):

and here is a picture of Natalie:

Your the Best Mamma in the Whole World....

My daughter said, "Your the best momma in the whole world."
She said it so cute! Of course I didn't have my camera. So I got the camera and made her say it again. It just didn't sound right the second time. So I had her say it some more.
Here's some video of her trying to say it.

My Girls Love to Draw....

They color all day long and I mean all.... day.... long.

They love it. And of course they have to show me every single picture that they draw.
"Mommy, mommy, look at my picture"
"No mommy look at mine"
"Wow, it's beautiful" I usually say.

Well, my 4 year old thought she was doing me a big favor by coloring all over the house.

I'm sure she thought, if I loved her pictures, I would really love it on the doors and walls.

Every door in our house has drawings (I checked, every single one).

Of course my first reaction was "WHO DID THIS!!"

My 4 year old, the guilty one said "The baby did it"

"hmmm...I don't think the baby can reach that high"

My older daughter went through the coloring on the wall stage when she was little. I would spend a lot of time cleaning it up.

Now with 3 kids, I'm just too tired to clean the doors and walls all the time. I've decided to just take pictures of their artwork and enjoy it until they finally grow out of this stage.

In a few years I plan to repaint all of the walls.

Yesterday, we took the kids to my brother and sister in law's house. They helped decorate the Christmas tree, drank hot cocoa, and decorated some cookies. They had a really fun time!

New My Kozy Car Seat Cover

I just added some new infant and toddler car seat covers by My Kozy.

There is no infant car seat cover like the My Kozy infant car seat cover. It has an attached blanket! No need to carry an extra blanket to cover the baby everytime you go out.

I remember when I had my baby, I would drape over a blanket while driving in the car to keep the sun out of my baby's eyes or put a blanket over the carseat during those cold windy days. Sometimes the blanket would fly off. The My Kozy infant carrier solves that problem.

They are also reversible!

My Kozy also makes stylish reversible toddler car seat covers too.

Check out all of the My Kozy covers here.

So We Took the Kids Bowling....

a few weeks ago with my daughter's girl scout troop. They loved it!

I just wanted to post a few pics of my little bowlers.

Here is a pic of my 2 year old bowling. I was so scared she was going to drop the ball on her toes:

My 4 year old would twist herself around and would throw the ball:

And here is a pic of my older daughter:

I signed up Natalie in a bowling league last year. She had so much fun. When the girls get a little older I want to sign them all up again.

Bowling is very fun and there are also many benefits . Bowling improves balance, coordination, and motor skills.

Bowling is a great for everyone young and old.

My daughter locked me in the basement.

My daughter is 2 years old. She loves to play tricks on people. This is not the first time that she has locked me in the basement.

Usually I would find things to do downstairs until she decides to unlock the door. Or my other daughters would unlock the door for me.

But this time it was a bit different. I needed to pick my other daughter up from preschool. My older daughter was in school too. So it was just me and her.

As I was climbing up the stairs, I could hear my daughter’s little feet running toward the basement door. I knew what she was planning to do. I hurried up the stairs as fast as I could, but it was too late. She locked the door.

I could hear her laughing on the other side as I was trying to turn the knob. After asking her several time to open the door, she decided it would be funnier if she turned off the lights too.
The light switch in the basement is clear across on the other side and there is way too much stuff to go around.
She would also turn the knob a little so that I would think she unlocked the door. I would try to turn the knob again and she laughed some more.

I knew if I kept asking her to open the door she wouldn’t do it. So I decided to wait it out until she got bored of this game. I think she forgot I was down there. She decided she wanted to watch a video. She turned the volume way up and watched cartoons for a bit.

Finally, I could hear her run back. She unlocked the door and said, "Mommy let’s go pick up efasia* from preschool”
Uh…yeah, that’s what I wanted to do 15 minutes ago. I was not down there very long. I was a tad bit late at picking up my daughter, but I learned an important lesson…..I need to take keys with me whenever I go downstairs.
My daughter thinks she is so funny and she is. Of course at the time it wasn't funny because I really needed to pick up my other daughter from preschool, but I laugh about it now.

Christmas is almost here!

What are you going to buy your kids?
I know the most popular gifts are electronic or battery operated toys.
I tend to lean away from those toys because I feel like they will turn my kids brains into mush (not really, but I just prefer they do other things).

Also, I learned a long time ago that kids get really bored with toys fast. It doesn’t matter how cool or expensive the toy is…. eventually it will be laying around in the corner.

When I buy toys for my girls, it either has to be something that makes them move or it has to be something that inspires them to use their imagination.

My favorite gift to give my girls and they Love, Love, Love, are dress-ups. It provides endless fun….. they seriously never get tired of it. They get dress-ups every year (actually several times a year).
My girls change 50 times a day. I usually have a little Snow White or Cinderella running around the house.

Here some pics of my girls in their dress-ups:

You can check out all of the dress-ups on here
